Zsanett Suto, who has a background in both the private and public sector of banking, is from Hungary and has an M.A. in Finance. She enrolled in Business Plus during Columbia Summer 2017.
What attracted you to Business Plus?
I wanted to study at an Ivy League university that specializes in finance. I have been really interested in the stock market, but I haven't had much exposure to it and I thought the best place to learn about the stock market and company valuation is New York City. Business Plus seemed to be a perfect fit for my interests. The oral communication class seemed useful for interviewing and written communication.
I was looking for something which is business related, where I can learn something new.
Now that you’re completed Business Plus, what’s next for you?
I am going to apply to Columbia Business School. I took the Security Analysis class and I hope to use the techniques I learned to broaden my skill sets and use what I’ve learned to gain a role that is related to the stock market. I am also considering those techniques so that I may invest in stocks in the future.
