What classes can I take?

What are the curriculum requirements?
You have the ability to tailor your coursework. The parameters are to take two of the SPS Business courses and two elective courses all at the graduate level (5000 or above). As such, you can take four SPS BUSI courses or you could potentially take two BUSI courses and two 5000 level courses in another business related subject.
How long does it take to complete?
Domestic students have two years to complete the program. International students are required to complete the program full-time (one semester).
Is it offered online?
Can I take MBA classes?
Possibly. Students can apply to cross-register for MBA classes at the beginning of each semester. If approved, they would only be accepted into one class per semester.

Is this connected with the Business School?
No, this is a separate program at the School of Professional Studies.
Will this help me get into an MBA program?
Many students do pursue these programs to help prepare for an MBA. However, we recommend you speak to the admissions teams at the MBA programs you wish to apply to for information on their application requirements. They can guide you best on how to improve your application and credentials.
Will these credits transfer to an MBA program?
This will be determined by the MBA program. Please contact the MBA programs you are considering to ask about their transfer credit policies.
Do I get career services?
You will have access to SPS Career Management website and attending events they host. Career Management does not offer in depth or job placement for visiting and non-degree students, but this website and the events will be great resources to you during your studies! If you have specific questions for that team, you can reach them via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please also note that their office has walk in hours that you can utilize.
