Current Columbia Students
Columbia students may choose to enroll in summer courses to catch up or get ahead in their academic programs, fulfill prerequisites such as Core requirements, or explore new fields. Hundreds of courses are available across eight topics of interest: Art, Humanities, Languages, Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Public Affairs, Quantitative Studies, and Social Sciences.
Whether you’re interested in exploring a budding passion or fulfilling degree requirements, consult with your advisor for approvals and to ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements to register or enroll in Columbia Summer courses.
Currently Enrolled Columbia Students
Current Columbia Students are encouraged to meet with their home advisor prior to registration to ensure a smooth course selection process.
Incoming Fall Undergraduate and Graduate Columbia Students should meet with their advisor to confirm eligibility for select courses and whether an application is required.
