Sounds of Summer Fest 2024

The Sounds of Summer Fest is a free lunchtime concert series that features up-and-coming New York City artists curated across genres.
Returning favorite The Rakiem Walker Project kicks off the series on June 12. Don’t miss an afternoon full of live music, giveaways, and delicious snacks.

Featuring
Rakiem Walker is a musician, musical director, talent cultivator, record label CEO, event producer, and saxophone designer. Rakiem Walker is the founder and musical director of The Rakiem Walker Project (RWP) which has rightfully earned the reputation of delivering high-energy, crowd-pleasing live performances.
GLR¥A – GLR¥A's (formerly Gloria Ry'ann) 4.5 octaves resonate from shared stages with Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Deborah Cox and Patti LaBelle; and across platforms, from A&E’s Lifetime TV to YouTube Private Events and the History Channel. She's also lent her voice for brands like JP Morgan Chase, The Rockefeller Family’s Oceana Foundation, IBM, MasterCard, Chanel, Gucci, French Connection, and Dapper Dan. She's had residencies in some of New York’s most recognized hot spots, like Chef Marcus Samuelsson’s Red Rooster Harlem, where she’s featured in the restaurant’s eponymous cookbook as a voice of Harlem; Melba Wilson’s Melba’s Restaurant; The Seville; Gurney’s Montauk and Soho House-Dumbo location, as featured artist for The Rakiem Walker Project.
