Visiting Students

Columbia Summer Session offers students the unique opportunity to foster academic, cultural, and career experiences as they advance their studies in the classroom. Through co-curricular learning, students can experience the vibrancy of campus life, amid the energy of New York City.

The Visiting Student Program is open to domestic and international students who are undergraduates and graduates enrolled at another institution, and individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree and who are not currently enrolled at another institution.

  • Choose from hundreds of courses in more than 50 subject areas
  • Build your own academic program of study
  • Receive an official Columbia University transcript and academic credit for courses completed
  • Learn from top faculty
  • Study alongside Columbia students
  • Experience NYC - the city is your classroom
