Business Edge

Business Edge

Gives advanced undergraduates the opportunity to acquire a world-class business education in accounting, leadership and strategy, marketing, and finance.

Offered online during Summer Session II (B), June 28-August 13, 2021

Business Edge incorporates project-based study in key business areas (accounting, finance, marketing and leadership) as well as specialized workshops and guest lectures. Working in teams, students develop a final project on a real-world company. In addition, students are enrolled in the Business Practicum for access to career-related workshops and events.

Upon successful completion of the program, students will be able to analyze and interpret financial statements, understand the fundamentals of finance, develop innovative promotional strategies, and learn how to apply the core concepts of management and organizational theory in the workplace.

Students will receive an official Columbia University Statement of Attendance and will be better prepared to pursue an entrepreneurial path or an MBA.

Taking Business Edge was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I can confidently say that I’ve walked away with the strongest fundamentals in business that I could’ve obtained.”

- Jovan Bursac, Business Edge student
